Tuesday Toss at Arroyo

Monrovia's Blake Heyworth is only getting better

(El Monte) – The weekly passing games continued at Arroyo Tuesday as Monrovia, Arcadia, La Puente and Diamond Bar paid a visit to the Knights. Monrovia? Yeah they’re loaded.

Quarterback Blake Heyworth is only getting better. Diamond Bar has a few holes to fill while Arcadia and Arroyo are replacing two great quarterbacks. La Puente returns Ivan Vasquez. Here’s a few shots.

Arroyo has looked hungrier and hungrier week after week, while other teams stay the same. With an experianced team and a hungry team the sky is the limit for the knights.

Arroyo looked average at best. M-Town and LP looked good.

Nobody reloads like Monrovia does. Who else can look at their depth chart every year, and know the first knee, the first ankle – really won’t spell major trouble for them.
I remember when O-Cat announced their was a new kid on the Monrovia campus- a big kid, 6’4 and 265…nobody was sure who he was. He is a Bruin now.
Every year their freshman team seems to have 6 new running backs.
