3. Schurr (1-0) – Defense gets Spartans off to a good start.
4. Diamond Ranch (1-1) – Panthers can’t get by tough Colony team.
5. Rowland (1-0) – Beat a very good defense in California.
6. California (0-1) – No shame in losing to Raiders.
7. San Gabriel (1-1) – Matadors need to stop turning the ball over if they want to win Almont.
8. Crescenta Valley (1-0) – Falcons get off to a quick start. Could be dangerous.
9. Walnut (1-0) – Mustangs offense is in high gear after one game.
10. Muir (0-2) – Tough night in Thousand Oaks
11. El Rancho (2-0) – Maybe win over West Covina wasn’t a fluke.
12. Whittier (1-0) – Opened many peoples eyes in win against Chino
13. West Covina (0-2) – Bulldogs drop two straight and loose four captains.
14. La Serna (0-1) – Tough way to start season with loss to Downey.
15. Burbank (1-1) – Bulldogs almost pull upset against Chaminade.
16. Montebello (1-1) – Big test against Rowland this week, after loss to Baldwin Park.
17. Wilson (1-0) – Coach Zavala gets big win in debut.
18. Alhambra (0-1) – No game last week and Temple City is a tad upset.
19. Bell Gardens (1-0) – Big win against Azusa.
20. Burroughs (0-1) – Indians couldn’t get by tough Spartan defense.

22. Los Altos (1-1) – Conquerors do a complete about-face in win over Northview.
23. Pasadena (0-2) – Open their new home with a loss.
24. Santa Fe (0-1) – Uninspiring loss has more questions than answers.
25. Keppel (0-1) – Madrid’s coaching debut was a loss, but Aztecs scored some points.
26. Hoover (0-1) – They were one-yard away from winning their first game in two years.
27. Arcadia (0-2) – Apaches are going the wrong way early.
28. Glendale (0-1) – Nitros get throttled by Cathedral.
29. Pioneer (0-1) – Long season if you get beat by Glenn.
30. Nogales (0-2) – Can only get better from here.
