3.) On this day in 1934 The New York Yankees purchased the contract of Joe DiMaggio from San Francisco of the Pacific Coast League.

4.) San Dimas Stat: Saints do not have a 1,000 yard rusher, they do not have a 900 yard rusher, the top 12 rushers in the Mid-Valley Division come from 12 different high schools and SD is not one of them. San Dimas, however, does lead the Mid-Valley in rushing as a team.
