@San Marino League Champs If you think Monrovia would win based on Athletes, you haven’t seen Culver City. They should easily be the most athletic team there and be in the final of this tourney. We could barely match up to their speed when we faced them in the passing tourneys last season at Rancho Cucamonga, so it was no surprise to me that they won the D7 championship. They are loaded for a repeat.
ER is also the only team trying to prepare for the realities of football, not trying to win 7 on 7 tag football trophy’s.
Monrovia wins this easily based on athletes. Monrovia loses this easily based on coaching.
ER is the only team that calls more running plays than passing plays in a 7 on 7 tournament.
I see Culver City and South Hills in the finals.
Lakewood’s absence from this tourney is proof-positive that new coach Scott Meyer is serious about getting the Lancers off the mat and back into the ring. We wish those Lancers good luck in turning things around quickly, and congratulate tournament winner Culver City in advance.
Culver City and Arroyo cruise to the finals in this one.
