The opening kick off for high school football is still a couple of weeks away. All the passing circuits are completed and fall camp is underway. Most teams will be throwing on the helmet and pads soon as they begin the stretch run to zero week.

Summer Mid-Valley Division Top 20

It’s late July so yes, there will be changes, yes I probably left out some deserving school out and no it’s not etched in stone. Breaking News: They were Throwing at Arroyo!

(El Monte) – Arroyo, Alhambra, Maranatha, SGV Shootout Champion Diamond Bar and Schurr tossed it around behind B.L. Bergstom Stadium on Thursday. It’s become as common as the morning sunrise to see teams thowing at Arroyo but as long as I got a camera I’ll be there.

SGV Shootout Set for July 9

(El Monte) – The SGV Shootout is set for Saturday July 9 at Arroyo High School. Last year the Shootout was moved to Gladstone while Arroyo was under remodel construction but this year it returns to its home.
