If anyone-Joe T would be best guy to ask on that, prob’ly has Noahs Ark full of prep sports history–as for me, not sure of where to dig for info outside of CalPreps. I think Keppel’s “best” yr in the 2000s was in 2005 when they started 3-0 in Jim Riggio’s final (or 2nd to last? not sure) year.
When was the last time keppel had a winning season? Can anyone provide that info!
The Keppel announcer kept dubbing the Keppel-Gabrielino game as a “battle for the 10 freeway” and also added *bragging rights in the San Gabriel Valley….add this to your list of rivalry names e.g Smudge Pot. Turkey Tussle. Mayor’s Trophy, and the other one I sent yaw – Chino vs Don Lugo (Milk Can)
October 2, 2009 Kepple defeated Mt. View 36-0 at home
Too bad we have forgotten the lessons of Sherman, Lee, Grant, and Jackson.
As a Dodger fan I’m pissed off that a year that looked so promising at the start turned into this! Please Frank, sell the team and go back to running parking lots in Boston.
