Former Los Angeles Rams running back Charles White turns 58 today.

White, who won the Heisman Trophy playing at USC and was the 27th overall pick in the 1980 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, joined the Rams in 1985 and was reunited with his college coach, John Robinson.

White played four seasons with the Rams and led the NFL in rushing with 1,374 yards in 1987. He was awarded Comeback Player of the Year, voted into the Pro Bowl, and was named first team All-Pro.

White attended San Fernando High School. Today he works as a computer consultant.
