Unbeaten Ayala Cruises by Bonita
By Tim Peterson (La Verne) – Ayala dominated from the opening kickoff, and cruised to a 31-6 win over Bonita Friday night. With the victory, the Bulldogs remained unbeaten and locked up at least a share of the Palomares league title.

Trojans Run over Arizona, 41-14
By Tim Peterson (Los Angeles) – USC shut out Arizona for three quarters and rolled to a 41-14 win over Arizona Saturday before 53,826 at the Coliseum.
Arroyo Gets Offensive in Rout of South
By Tim Peterson (El Monte) – Andrew Enriquez threw three touchdown passes to Carlos Hernandez and Adrian Calvillo ran for three more lead Arroyo to a 42-17 rout of South El Monte Friday night at B.L. Bergstrom Stadium in a Mission Valley League contest.
Mustangs Defense Leads the Way
By MVS Staff (Burbank) – Muir’s defense was in lock down mode and the offense did enough to lead the Mustangs to a 20-15 win over Burbank Monday night in Pacific League action. The game was rescheduled after being postponed last Friday night due to the Saddleridge fire.
