Some, and even some on our own staff (Andy), asked me why I was at San Juan Hills/Viewpoint on Wednesday night.
Okay, I’ll tell you…Viewpoint is in the Alpha League and could finish third. A reference was made about Joey Harmon going down prior to Arcadia’s season opener as being similar to Garrett Pendleton going down in August for Bonita in 2010.
While it’s true both schools had/have quality back-ups in place, Pendleton was lost only for a month. Harmon is gone until 2013.
For the record Brian Zavala is the new defensive coordinator at Montebello.
