Michael Ezeike, Senior, Colony: WR/FS 6′ 4″ 225
Ezeike has received 23 Division 1 offers already with his top seven being Michigan, Texas A&M, Oregon, Utah, UCLA, USC, and Arizona State.
Ezeike is going to be a huge part of the Titans offense this year after having 49 receptions for 764 yards and 10 scores as a junior. He’ll also play a part on defense at safety where he collected 29 tackles last year.
“He is a great kid with a great attitude! I am excited he will also play some defensive end for us as well,” said Colony DC Brian Zavala.
Colony opens the season August 25th at home against West Covina.
@lupe
Bonita can compete with any school in any sport, you just don’t have the leadership in football to compete. The players are there. The last two years freshman were fantastic without losing a game. No more excuses just play.
You guys should come down to Monrovia
So your telling me Bonita, Alta Loma and the Claremont are going to compete with kids like this next year. Good Luck.
I never heard the term Wheelhouse applied to geography, but I like it. Like Chris Walken used to say “more wheelhouse!!”
I hear there is a really good QB at John Bosco and Bishop Amat is a hell of a lot closer. Oh yea, thats SGVT’s boys. Aren’t those closer than Colony H.S.? I really did not know that Colony is on the Midvalleysports radar of covered teams. I can’t wait for the weekly updates. Much closer than the other 40 school near El Monte. LOL!
From T. Peterson: With the realignments we really have no specific coverage area. But it’s always been like that. Heck we’ve driven out to Lancaster to cover Paraclete in the past and out to Santa Barbara to cover Bishop Diego. At MVS we really don’t have any parameters. Colony is in our wheelhouse. This info was sent to us by a coach so we posted it. I mean the kid has 23 offers! I think it’s awesome! A great accomplishment.
This is the most presentable photo MVS could muster; all the others showed way too much skin and had to be censored.
