(El Monte) – Francisco Gonzalez had four hits and four runs batted in to lead Gabrielino to a 7-0 shutout over Arroyo Friday. The Eagles remain in control in the Mission Valley League with and 8-1 record. They are 10-7 overall.

By Corey Kwok (San Gabriel) – Angel Acosta delivered a dominant complete game no hitter and received plenty of run support as Gabrielino small-balled its way to a seven run third inning before settling for an 8-0 shutout over South El Monte in a key MVL contest Wednesday.

Acosta No Hits Arroyo

(San Gabriel) – Angel Acosta fired a no hitter and Gabrielino got the only run it needed in the fourth inning to beat Arroyo 1-0 Wednesday in Mission Valley League action.
