Cougars Hold off Simon Fraser
By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Azusa Pacific jumped out to a 23-3 lead but then had to hold on in the fourth quarter for a 32-24 win over Simon Fraser Saturday night at Citrus College.
St. Francis Finishes Fast, 35-13
By Tim Peterson (La Canada) – St. Francis scored three times in the fourth quarter to break open a close game and finish off Monrovia 35-13 Friday night at Friedman Field.
Lions Roll Away the Stone, 40-22
By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – El Monte jumped out to a 32-0 lead in the first half and rolled to a 40-22 win over Gladstone Thursday night at Citrus College.

By Tim Peterson La Mirada fell hard but Servite is just this side of Florida State. St. Francis impressive with a rout of Moorpark and La Serna had its way with Schurr. Crescenta Valley and Bellflower both jump in the fray as they stay unbeaten with big wins.
Laugher for La Serna 35-0
By Tim Peterson (Montebello) – La Serna rushed out to a 28-0 halftime lead and never looked back in a 35-0 rout of Schurr Friday night on the Spartans home field. The Lancers ground game was nearly unstoppable with all five scores coming by way of the run.
Maranatha Goes Boone! A Win is Devine
By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Caleb Devine rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns to lead Maranatha to a 35-26 win over Azusa Thuraday night at Citrus College.
