Former Bell Gardens HC David Ramos Joins St. Paul Staff
(Bell Gardens) – David Ramos, who stepped down as the head coach at Bell Gardens earlier this year, has joined the St. Paul staff as Offensive Line Coach. Ramos led the Lancers to the Almont League title and an 8-3 overall record in 2012.

Lady Spartans Sacked by St. Joseph
(Lakewood) – St. Joseph used a 15-0 run from late in the first quarter to early in the second to open up a 14 point lead and never relinquished it in a 50-40 win over La Canada Saturday night in the Division 3A CIF Semi Finals.

(Crescenta Valley) – Cole Currie scored 27 points and Nick Springer added 15 to lead Crescenta Valley to a 68-54 win over Millikan Friday night and into the Division 1A Semi Finals.
Long Says So Long at Arcadia
(Arcadia) – Chris Long resigned as the head coach at Arcadia Thursday morning after just one year at the helm sources confirmed. The Apaches finished 4-7 overall (4-3 in the Pacific League) and lost in the first round of the playoffs to La Mirada 42-17.
Lady Spartans Advance to Semis
(La Canada) – La Canada overcame a 12 point halftime deficit to beat Santa Margarita 53-47 and advance to the CIF Division 3A semi finals Wednesday night.
