Jon Dimalante & the Arcadia Apaches will have their hands full with Burroughs this Friday night. --- photo courtesy of Mr. Photos.

Good Afternoon!

Oh, I have always been a fantasy football fan…

What do Darien McGee (Maranatha), Kevon Seymour (Muir), Andrew Barcenas (South El Monte), Andrew Fischer (Diamond Ranch), Johnathan Silvas (Bosco Tech), Eric Acevedo (Ganesha), and Zander Anding (Burroughs) have in common?

Where did Walnut’s Devin Brown come from? And where was he last year?

If he stays on last week’s pace, five touchdowns (3 in the air, 2 on the ground), shouldn’t  Pasadena quarterback Brandon Cox get some All-CIF consideration…no matter the outcome of the Bulldogs season?

“Coach Joe”…Yeah, I like that. And if I am indeed “Coach Joe”, I’m gonna run split backs, throw to my tight end, script my first twenty plays, and make sure my offensive line is always first in line for the team buffet.

Defense? That’s easy, I’m hiring Marc Paramo…

…How’s that for sucking up?

“A Funny Thing Happened to Alhambra on the Way to a 10-0 Season”—Will be released on DVD this Christmas…There will be several alternate endings in the Special Features section…Because you’ll never really know how this will turnout.

I’m thinking of checking out some baseball…Go Cleveland.

Did you know that San Dimas and Nogales, who play this week, have only met four times in football since the Saints began varsity play in 1972? SD has a 3-1 advantage, including a 40-12 victory in 2010.

On this date in 1973 Arcadia’s Tom Jurich booted a 23-yard field goal with 7:17 remaining to give the Apaches a 9-7 victory over Bishop Amat at Mt. Sac.

Last Add Pasadena: Also on this date in 2007, Bulldog running back Rashad McCord carried the ball 13 times for 166 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-18 win over Burbank.

Take Rosemead over Temple City this week.

South El Monte at Bell Gardens should be entertaining…my guess is the winning team will employ a 2-3 zone before its over.

At 6-4, 265 Whittier Christian’s Ryan Wallace is having a very good season on the Heralds offensive line.

Do you think Green Bay fans still want Brett Favre back?

Favre on his best day was never as good as Aaron Rodgers is right now.

Note to Jon Dimalante: His name is Zander Anding.

Next Add Burroughs: If the Indians win at Salter Stadium things will get heated in the Southeast Division.

Is everyone off the Azusa bandwagon now? Remember its three losses (San Dimas, Maranatha, Don Lugo) were to schools with a combined 11-3 record.

Say What!

I said 11-3…Everyone wanted them to upgrade the schedule, well they did and they didn’t pick any chumps.

Of course Duarte is the wild card in the Montview…but the crown and fate of the world should come down to the Aztecs Week 10 match with The La Puente High School.

Here’s a question, could the Warriors be 9-0 going into that finale against Azusa?

Last Add Joe Scherf’s Team: Linebacker Adrian Chavez is a “Bad Dude”…

Finally, will someone starting talking about how good Crescenta Valley running back Marro Lee is?

The Dude abides…
