The Peterson Principle: 11/24/2014

Have you seen the numbers of the last three quarterbacks at El Rancho? Well if not here you go. 2014- Andrew Perea: 3103 total yards, 34 touchdowns; 2013 – Ryan Araujo: 2558 total yards, 17 TD; 2012- Joey Sanchez: 3184 total yards, 39 TD.

Top Ten Southeast Division: 11/2/2014

By Tim Peterson No changes as everybody in the Top Ten won last week but a couple of things stood out. El Rancho is good, I mean really good. The Dons are a Final Four contender.

Top Ten: Southeast Division (10/26/2014)

By Tim Peterson CV proved its the best team in the Pacific with a big win over Muir. The Falcons look like a solid Final Four team. La Mirada, St. Francis and Cathedral just keep rolling along. Norwalk held off Bellflower and looks forward to November 7 date with La Mirada. Dominguez continues to light […]

Top Ten: Southeast Division (10/19/2014)

By Tim Peterson St. Francis won the game of the week with a big win at Cathedral. But the Phantoms were already a slot behind the Golden Knights. Everybody else in the Top Ten won except for Lynwood who is falling off the map. Muir may be the scariest team in the Southeast. The Mustangs […]

Top Ten: Southeast Division (10/12/2014)

By Tim Peterson Lots of changes this week as La Serna, Lynwood, and Bellflower all go down. El Rancho and Downey both make the leap into the Top 10 with big victories. St. Paul beat La Salle? What the? The Swordsmen aren’t in the Top 10 but they are in the mix.

The Peterson Principle: 10/6/14

By Tim Peterson Don’t be fooled by the final score. La Mirada didn’t mess around with Bellflower. This was domination in every sense of the word. The Matadores were bigger, stronger and definitely much faster. Tony Brown is every bit as advertised.

Top Ten: Southeast Division (9/21/2014)

By Tim Peterson Another giant is slayed by La Mirada while St. Francis puts it on Central Division power Monrovia. La Serna continues to impress and Cathedral and Bellflower are unbeaten. So is Crescenta Valley which is why the Falcons jumped to number seven. Norwalk? 44-6? Really? Lancers fall to five.

The Peterson Principle: 9/15/14

By Tim Peterson Man I really wanted to see what would have happened in the Pomona – Mission Prep game last Friday night. If it wasn’t financially possible for the school make the trip to San Luis Obispo then that’s fine. But why schedule the game?

Top Ten: Southeast Division (9/14/2014)

By Tim Peterson La Mirada fell hard but Servite is just this side of Florida State. St. Francis impressive with a rout of Moorpark and La Serna had its way with Schurr. Crescenta Valley and Bellflower both jump in the fray as they stay unbeaten with big wins.

Top Ten: Southeast Division

La Mirada continues to impress while Salesian was knocked down a notch by Montclair. St. Francis entered the fray with a big win and La Serna surprised Los Osos. It wasn’t easy but La Salle stayed unbeaten and Downey, despite a loss, raised some eyebrows.
