No one wants to play for Pete! That’s why he can’t kids to transfer. He sure tried to go after a kid from another montebello school but the kid didn’t want to play for him. When he was betting kids no one said anything now its a big deal come on now. Spartans
This is getting ridiculous all the comments I went to schurr I played for the best coach all this is rubbish. I heard yesterday a few things that were going on at Schurr and I’m hoping it’s not true. That is not how we win we win fair and square with the kids who live in our area. I’m hoping their all rumors. The coaching staff I believe is shady we don’t need the lime light that bad that we’re willing and ok with breaking rules. Come on administration get involved put reputation is on the line.
May the truth come out, and let the chips fall where they may. Everyone should live and play by the rules, and the rules should be equally enforced by CIF and by all school administrators.
The recruiting (or alleged recruiting) of high school players, transfers of student-athletes from one school to another, and alleged spying on other teams’ practices has gotten out of hand.
I hope all of our young men can remain healthy and eligible throughout the season. May the Almont League gain some positive attention this year.

But mark our words you will be but another reason we will put more than 50 plus on MHS. And what a joke of an article by the Daily news actually talking about your Oilers as if you have a chance for league title. I bet the writer is either a pissed off exSchurr guy or a MHS homer. Either way get a clue about what you are writing. 4th/5th place is what MHS will be battling for. Keep it coming Petay, still mad cause no one wants to play for you any more.

Love what I see from our team everyday. No bold prodictions or comparisons to last years solid team but several of the Dad’s from that team are as excited as we are about this years squad. Best of luck to all teams in the league because the league needs some good out of league wins. Keeping doing your thing coaches the stands will be full. Go Spartans!

You get a clue. First off Ryan Rivera sat out five games because he transferred. Get a clue! Second , Tapia transferred in from Victorville with a legitimate address verified by the district. Third, I don’t remember the other qb. Lol. As for the BG thing , don’t say that Kid was ineligible because he finished off the year. If he was they would’ve had to forfeit all the other games as well. If you know Pete so well and witnessed these things then why didn’t you report it to the school ? Just curious… Teachers cannot change grades and those sort of fairytale things you’re saying. The AD has to verify himself. Get your facts straight before you make up stories. I’ve know Pete for along time and he’s pretty straight up when it comes to rules of the school. I’m not saying kids haven’t came in but they we’re cleared the right way. Through the school and district. You sound like a fired coach. I said the other night I wouldn’t use the word

i now pete pretty well and i know for a fact had a few schurr players transfer down there when schurr was a bad team. also, pete has used kids with bad grades for several years. ask him why he had to forfeit the BG game. dont come on here acting like you know pete or know how respectful he is…. because hes not. why dont you look at the last 3 QBs that were there… ALL transfers! get a clue

Come on guys all it means is your so hard up to win you would jeopardize your faith and your character to do so. Montebello (Pete) will always walk/talk integrity and honor even in the tuff seasons. You’re the typical clown I was referring to. I don’t have a crystal ball nor do I make unrealistic predictions about our team. That’s what you do. I do know for a fact that if you played with your original players and not all these transfers you guys would get smoked. No doubt about it. Desperation mode didn’t fall on us. It fell on you. That’s why your clown coaching staff went out and poached every kid they could. But guess what? Word has it that those kids won’t be playing because of undue influence from your staff. I hope that the case. If it is then the only sad faces in Montebello will be from your school. Say what you wish but you know it as well. Matter of fact , everyone knows it. How desperate must you be to get 9 kids from Cantwell? Lol. What a joke! Those kids are just average anyways. We will see soon enough what your really made of.
