South Pasadena Derails Gabrielino

By Corey Kwok (South Pasadena) – The 2010 season began on a high note for first year head coach Anthony Chevrier and South Pasadena as the Tigers roared for nine unanswered runs en route to a 9-2 win over visiting Gabrielino Friday in the Arcadia Elks tournament.

Nice Start for Tuck, Apaches

(Temple City)- Garrett Tuck fired a complete game four hitter to lead Arcadia to a 6-1 win over Temple City Friday in the season opener for both teams. It was also the first game of the Arcadia Elks Tournament.

Pasadena Pushes on to Final

(Pasadena) – Pasadena got 17 points from both Tyler Barber and Chris Bridges and went on to beat Keppel 63-48 Friday night before a standing room only crowd at Muir High School. With the victory the Bulldogs advanced to the CIF Division 2A Final Saturday at the Honda Center against Eisenhower.
