Top Ten: Mid Valley Division (09/22/2014)

By Duane Barker The top six continue to win and with that there is not much change in the top seven. Arroyo jumps over Pomona to take over the sixth spot. At the bottom La Puente jumps back into the top ten after shellacking Wilson. Gabrielino movers up one after Ganesha and Covina get bumped.

By Joe Torosian The three best quarterbacks in the division may be playing for the top three teams on this list. Then again, Jesse Hanckel is getting it done for Village Christian with nine scoring tosses. Long way to go, but a Nipomo-Maranatha final would be a lot of fun.

So is Crescenta Valley which is why the Falcons jumped to number seven. Norwalk? 44-6? Really? Lancers fall to five.

Tartans Run Away From Conquerors

By Duane Barker (Hacienda Heights) The Glendora Tartans traveled south to Hacienda Heights to take on the Los Altos Conquerors. The game was close early on but the Tartans took over the game int the second half and ground out a 34-14 win Friday night.

Saints March to Third Straight Victory    

By Scott Hunter (Rosemead) – San Dimas continued to roll after an opening week loss to Monrovia with a 42-6 rout of Rosemead Friday night. The Saints put their foot on the pedal and never let up in cruising to a third straight victory.

Maranatha Takes Down La Salle  

(Pasadena)- The Maranatha Minutemen used a third quarter blocked punt from Nate Elffers to spark a 17 point rally and held on for a 33-30 victory over the La Salle Lancers on Friday night at home.
