Mid-Valley Football Daily Tracking Poll: 6/8/2012

Alhambra's Ezra Broadus should be doing a lot of this in 2012.

We’ve started with the Top 25 football teams in the Mid-Valley Division, but it is up to you where you want them to go from here. Leave us a comment, send us a tweet, message us on FB, vote in the poll, or drop us a line through email. The more we learn about your team, the more they move up. To keep a sense of balance, because it is largely unscientific, we have weighted the teams.

This will run for the next five working days. Then we will launch a Northwest Division Poll.

.) Monrovia (25): “Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends…We’re so glad you could attend…Come inside, come inside!”

.) Sierra Canyon (24): “This is the next Oaks Christian.”— Olympic League HC.

.) Paraclete (23): “Like whirlwinds sweeping through the southland, an invader comes from the desert, from a land of terror.”— Isaiah 21:1

.) San Dimas (22): Jake Payton already a star, becomes the star everyone knows about in 2012.

.) San Gabriel (21): If Big Joe Mayorga has a big year, so do the Mats.

.) El Monte (20): “Something’s telling me our time is now…its just a whisper but I know it somehow…we got to listen…got to do it now…”

.) Arroyo (19): We’ve never heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon, and we haven’t seen the Knights without a front line quarterback in over a decade.

.) Bell Gardens (18): It should be a “Garden Party” in the Almont this fall…

.) South Pasadena (17): Winning record in 2012 finally means a playoff birth.

.) Alhambra (16): Quinones, Broadus, it might be coming together for Kanach.

.) Northview (15): Any team with Javon Taylor is okay in our book.

.) Rosemead (14): Three quarterbacks, three distinct personalities, but only one can be the man.

.) San Marino (13): Titans plan on putting the Ryan Wood to opponents this year.

.) Schurr (12): Southpaw Sal has Spartans wishing and hoping and dreaming and praying.

.) Pomona (11): We’re fans of Daryl Aggers.

.) Covina (12): Some would say this is kind of high for team that loses nearly everything to graduation.

.) South El Monte (11): Some would say this is way too low for a team returning front line talent. Give us a Machuca and anything is possible.

.) Montebello (10): We know they’ll play defense…but will they score points.

.) La Canada (9): Love the new coach, love the future, we just can’t get into the now with LC.

.) Baldwin Park (8): Keep an eye on Michael Moran at quarterback.

.) Brentwood School (7): Brentwood? Say What?

.) Wilson (6): Third head coach in three years, fifth in six years. That can slow growth some…What do you think?

.) Temple City (5): “But when she looked there, there cupboard was bare.”

.) Nogales (5): Way too low…MVS sometimes, sometimes, doesn’t know what its talking about.

.) Mt. View (5): Ambruso…Sounds like a nice table wine. Ambruso at the end of 2012 could be identified with Coach of the Year.

(Others) Blair, Gabrielino, Keppel, Pasadena Marshall, Viewpoint, Kilpatrick, Winward, Calvary Chapel

The official Mid Valley Sports Top 25s will come out August 1st.
