Schmid Steps Down as Galaxy Coach

By Tim Peterson (Carson) – Sigi Schmid stepped down as the coach of the Galaxy Monday with just six games left in the regular season. Assistant Dominic Kinnear has been named interim head coach.

Onalfo Out, Sigi Schmid Back in for Galaxy

By Tim Peterson (Carson) – The Galaxy fired Head Coach Curt Onalfo and replaced him with Sigi Schmid, the team announced Thursday. Schmid previously coached LA from 1999- 2004.
