By Tim Peterson Jordan Lobianco had a big game for Crescenta Valley Friday night. He caught an 82-yard touchdown pass, and returned an interception 10 yards for a touchdown. He was good enough to have his highlights shown on “The Challenge” with Fred Roggin and Petros Papadakis Sunday night on NBC.

It’s been a memorable week in sports – especially here in Southern California. And no I’m not talking about the Dodgers signing of Aaron Harang. There was the CIF Finals in the Mid-Valley and Southeast Divisions, big news out of Anaheim, and Los Angeles and there is a new chief in Westwood.
I’m not sure why anybody would have paid 41,000 dollars for a courtside seat to the Lakers-Heat game on Christmas Day. Honestly that’s what was reported that they were going for.
We knew it would happen sooner or later. USC fans, like me, hoped it would be later but after a year in which the Trojans lost four games, and possible NCAA sanctions coming down the time was perfect for Pete Carroll to take his act to the NFL. And of course 35 million dollars also […]
