The Peterson Principle 7/2/12

Wow! Alert the media. Sound the alarm! The Dodgers just scored a run… You knew the Dodgers offense would struggle without Matt Kemp in the lineup but did anybody predict this bad? This is a slump of epic proportions.

The Peterson Principle 2/20/12

There is good basketball in the San Gabriel Valley. Sometimes you just have to look. I saw a good one Friday night at St. Francis High School. Covina, who finished in a three way tie for first in the Valle Vista went into Golden Knights territory and beat them on their own turf.

They don’t believe in playing defense in the Pro Bowl. It’s either that or the Lakers-T-Wolves. Wow what a bad Sunday night for sports.

The Peterson Principle 12/26/11

Notes and observations from Christmas Weekend 2011: It feels strange to have a Sunday in December with just one NFL Game. With Christmas falling on a Sunday all of the games were moved to Saturday the 24th leaving Green Bay and Chicago with the spotlight all to themselves on Sunday night.

Contrary to popular opinion I don’t have a problem with the Lakers hiring Mike Brown. Listening to the reaction this week after the Lakers announced that Brown would be the new coach; you would have thought they hired Bobby Brown.

The Peterson Principle 5/9/11

Yes I did watch the entire Laker game on Sunday. I’m also into caning, flogging, electric shock and Chinese water torture. It was ugly – one of the ugliest losses in Laker playoff history, along with game six at Boston in the 2008 Finals.

The Peterson Principle 5/3/11

The Memphis Grizzlies won a playoff series? What’s next? The Washington Generals beat the Harlem Globetrotters? The Clippers win the NBA title? Some things just aren’t supposed to happen.
