So for six months the NBA news revolves around Dwight Howard and it turns out he’s not going anywhere. Yes he’s arguably the best center in the league but he’s also the most indecisive. The latest news on Howard has him opening his own waffle house when he retires.

There is good basketball in the San Gabriel Valley. Sometimes you just have to look. I saw a good one Friday night at St. Francis High School. Covina, who finished in a three way tie for first in the Valle Vista went into Golden Knights territory and beat them on their own turf.

It’s not that shocking that the Lakers lost to New Orleans in game one of their playoff series. What is shocking is that numerous pundits, and nearly all radio talk show hosts thought that a Laker sweep was a foregone conclusion.
