The Peterson Principle: 9/8/14

I keep hearing about Pomona. I mention that San Dimas is the team to beat in the Mid-Valley Division after last week’s loss to Monrovia and I keep hearing about Pomona. I see San Dimas beat a more physical Los Altos team Friday night by converting a two point conversion late in the fourth and […]

Top Ten: Southeast Division

La Mirada continues to impress while Salesian was knocked down a notch by Montclair. St. Francis entered the fray with a big win and La Serna surprised Los Osos. It wasn’t easy but La Salle stayed unbeaten and Downey, despite a loss, raised some eyebrows.

(Carson)- Gyasi Zardes scored twice and Robbie Keane added another to lead the LA Galaxy to a 3-0 win over Chivas USA Sunday in what was dubbed as “The Last Clasico” at StubHub Center.

Garcia Grinds it out for Huskies

(San Dimas) – South Hills had more then three plays in its playbook. It only seemed like the ones used were Jesse Garcia left, Garcia right and Garcia up the middle. It was South Hills HC Albert Rodriguez’ plan to pound the ball and Garcia carried out that plan to near perfection with 38 carries for 224 yards and two touchdowns as the Huskies beat […]

Who was Best in Zero Week? (Vote in Poll)

Who was best in zero week? Was it the Cooper and Hooper Show in Northview? Raymen Barraza at Baldwin Park? Did you see what Roy Barrajas did at El Monte? Nice week for guys named Chris – Walker at Norwalk and Osorio at Wilson. And Christian Lara’s debut was a huge success in La Mirada.
