No Place Like Home For Cougars

By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Azusa Pacific turned the tables on Cal Baptist Saturday night. Two weeks ago the Lancers beat APU 87-80 before a raucous home crowd, but this time it was the Cougars who used a standing room only crowd to propel them to an 84-68 victory and to the cusp of a PacWest Conference title.     

Pasadena Makes its Point, 53-52

By Tim Peterson (Pasadena) – Tyrek Adams hit one of two free throws with two seconds left to give Pasadena a 53-52 win over La Sierra Friday to advance to the third round of the CIF  Division 3AA playoffs.

Cougars Late Run Buries Chaminade

LA KISS To Hold Final Tryouts

The LA KISS will hold their final open tryouts for the 2015 roster on Saturday February 28 at Santa Ana College at 9:00 am.

Elias Lands at Buena Park

Eagles Cruise to MVL Title

By Tim Peterson (San Gabriel) – Gabrielino jumped out to a 21-8 first quarter lead and never looked back in a 70-34 rout of Rosemead Friday night to wrap up a perfect Mission Valley League run. For the second straight year the Eagles went undefeated in league and have now won 25 consecutive league games dating back to 2013.

Cougars Put Some English On It, 88-74

By Tim Peterson (Glendora) –  Bruce English scored 17 points off the bench in 20 minutes to spark Azusa Pacific to an 88-74 win over BYU -Hawaii Thursday night at Felix Event Center.
