One is Enough for Galaxy

By Tim Peterson (Carson) – The LA Galaxy fired 20 shots on goal but only three of them were on target. One of those three hit the net and that was enough to beat Seattle 1-0 Sunday before a sold out crowd of 27,000 at StubHub Center.

Nevens’ Five Spot Leads Los Altos

By George Hernandez (Montebello) Northview took a 21-3 lead late in the first half but Montebello did fight back to make it 21-17, that was a close as they the Oilers would get as the Vikes move on to the semifinals with a 42-24 victory.

UCLA Offers Monrovia’s Spencer

By Tim Peterson (Monrovia) – UCLA has offered Monrovia receiver Octavius Spencer sources confirmed Sunday. Spencer has caught 25 passes for 550 yards and seven touchdowns so far this year.

Cougars Left Out of Playoffs
