West Covina Wins Shootout

(El Monte) – West Covina beat Northview 30-18 to win the SGV Shootout at Arroyo Saturday. The Bulldogs, not traditionally a passing team, knocked off Monrovia in the semi finals before dispatching of Northview. Monrovia beat Whittier Christian in the consolation game.

Five Fire Away at Arroyo

(El Monte) – Five teams gathered late Thursday afternoon at Arroyo to fire the ball around. Azusa, Gladstone, Schurr and Northview all joined the the host Knights to get in some June work.

Franklin Hangs on at Northview, 16-13

By Cory Kwok (Covina District Field)- The Franklin Panthers, visiting from the City Section, took an early lead and was able to comeback Friday night for a 16-13 victory over the Northview Vikings.
