“C’mon I just need two! Gimme a break. I need to get in,” pleaded a lady dressed in Pasadena Bulldog colors. “Aw forget it. They’ll blow them out anyway. I’ll catch them at the Honda Center next week,” uttered another guy as he stormed away from the gymnasium door and out into the night. 

Pasadena Pushes on to Final

(Pasadena) – Pasadena got 17 points from both Tyler Barber and Chris Bridges and went on to beat Keppel 63-48 Friday night before a standing room only crowd at Muir High School. With the victory the Bulldogs advanced to the CIF Division 2A Final Saturday at the Honda Center against Eisenhower.

High School Boys Basketball Top 20

If you haven’t seen Montebello yet, you still have time. The Oilers are for real. If it’s not Antonio Worthy doing damage in the paint, it’s Andrew Torres on the wing. Michael Carabes and Daniel Flores can light it up as well. They are poised for a nice playoff run.

Friday Night Roundups

By Tim Peterson   Wilson 35 Glenn 14   Wilson scored 28 consecutive points to erase a seven point halftime deficit and went on to rout Glenn 35-14 Friday night at home. Josh Nelson recovered a fumble in the end zone in the third quarter for a touchdown to start the onslaught.
