Monrovia Ready for the Rubber Match

(Monrovia) – Monrovia got a new field in 2010. The Wildcats also hope to get a new CIF championship after coming one game short a year ago. A good start towards that goal would be a win over San Dimas – the team that beat them in the CIF Championship game last year.

But after knocking off Mid Valley Division contenders Whittier Christian in the semis and Monrovia in the Finals, The Aztecs were the champions of the Tournament Saturday at Gladstone High School.

Apaches make Quick Work of Saints

(Arcadia) – Arcadia still had time to catch a late movie. It took K.J Edson and the Apaches just one hour and 36 minutes to finish off San Dimas 3-1 Saturday night at the Apache Invitational.
