Los Altos Puts Away Walnut in Fourth

By Tim Peterson (Hacienda Heights) – Los Altos broke open a close game in the fourth quarter outscoring Walnut 23-11 to beat the Mustangs 70-57 Friday night in a Hacienda League contest.

Cougars a Three Short against Cal Baptist

By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Azusa Pacific rallied from 12 points down to get within two with under two minutes left but Cal Baptist held on for an 80-77 win before a packed house at Felix Event Center Thursday night.

Newcomer of the Year: QB Ernesto Camacho – Arroyo

Ernesto Camacho wasn’t supposed to see much action in 2016. Arroyo had its quarterback. He was penciled in back in the summer and in the early part of the year looked like he was locked in for the whole year.
