Whittier College Tournament: A Few More Shots…

16 schools participated in the Whittier College Tournament Saturday. Some local, and some from other area codes. In the end La Habra beat Buena Park 26-14 in the final. Buena Park went 7-1 and beat Sonora in the semi finals. La Habra went 7-0 and beat El Rancho in the semis. Here’s a few more shots.

Garcia Grinds it out for Huskies

(San Dimas) – South Hills had more then three plays in its playbook. It only seemed like the ones used were Jesse Garcia left, Garcia right and Garcia up the middle. Bonita Air Assault

(La Verne) -The Bonita Air Assualt conlcuded Saturday with Upland knocking off Valencia to win the two-day Tournament. Monrovia, who played without starting quarterback Blake Heyworth and reciever Mason Bryant on Friday, had both players back on Saturday and had a lead on Upland earlier in the day before falling late in the contest.
