Whittier College Tournament: A Few More Shots…

16 schools participated in the Whittier College Tournament Saturday. Some local, and some from other area codes. In the end La Habra beat Buena Park 26-14 in the final. Buena Park went 7-1 and beat Sonora in the semi finals. La Habra went 7-0 and beat El Rancho in the semis. Here’s a few more shots.

Mea Culpa Covina  I love it when I’m right but when I’m wrong, I need to acknowledge that also. And in the case of Covina it looks like I was wrong. After seeing how many players the Colts lost to graduation/transfer I thought they were in trouble.

Bonita Air Assault

(La Verne) -The Bonita Air Assualt conlcuded Saturday with Upland knocking off Valencia to win the two-day Tournament. Monrovia, who played without starting quarterback Blake Heyworth and reciever Mason Bryant on Friday, had both players back on Saturday and had a lead on Upland earlier in the day before falling late in the contest.
