So Temple City isn’t folding its football program. Great news. By hiring an on campus teacher as the head coach the administration has at least shown that they are interested in creating some consistency and some interest in a program that desperately needs it.

Seeing Stengel Field is worth taking a drive to Glendale. It’s not your typical high school baseball field although the Crescenta Valley Falcons do call it their home.

It would seem it wouldn’t take the death of an owner to get a team motivated but whatever it takes I guess. There have been three straight victories since the death of Dr. Jerry Buss and Dwight Howard is still in the fold so it looks like the Lakers are on the right track.
