(Alhambra) – Alhambra gave Schurr all it could handle but in the end the Spartans had enough to beat the Moors 41-28 to finish second in the Almont League.

By Tim Peterson (Carson) – Giovani dos Santos scored in the 55th minute and the Galaxy made it stand up in a 1-0 win over Colorado Sunday before 24,487 at StubHub Center in the Western Conference semi final opener.
Cougars Wrap up GNAC, 44-7
By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Andrew Elffers threw for 321 yards and four touchdowns and the defense forced four turnovers as Azusa Pacific routed Central Washington 44-7 Saturday night before a Homecoming crowd at Citrus College. With the victory, the Cougars (8-1) wrapped up the GNAC title.
