TC Slugged by Standley Lake

(Temple City) – Temple City was hit with eight runs in the first two innings and fell to Standley Lake (Colorado) 14-5 Saturday. Standley Lake piled up 14 hits in all including five for exta bases.

Marshall to MVL?

(Pasadena) – Marshall (Pasadena) could end up in the Mission Valley League. Or maybe not. They also could end up in the Pacific, in a completely new league or stay right where they are in the Alpha League.

Seeing Stengel Field is worth taking a drive to Glendale. It’s not your typical high school baseball field although the Crescenta Valley Falcons do call it their home.

The basketball playoff pairings were announced Sunday and again some of the brackets left you scratching your head. Baldwin Park is traveling to Beaumont. I hope that gas bill fits into the school budget.
